What you need to know:
Shareholders in RBS Investment Funds ICVC (“IF ”) holding shares in the Managed Income Fund, have (at a meetings of those shareholders held on 17 June 2021) voted in favour of the ACD's proposals to merge, by way of a scheme of arrangement, the Managed Income Fund with the Managed Defensive Fund (the “Merger”). The intended effective date of the Merger will be 13 August 2021. Upon completion of the Merger the Managed Income Fund will be terminated.
There will be no further subscriptions, redemptions or switches into or out of the Managed Income Fund after 11pm on 6 August 2021 and shareholders will be issued with Shares in the Managed Defensive Fund without needing to take any action on their part. Shareholders who do not wish to take part in the Merger should place a redemption request by the 3pm cut off time on 5 August 2021. Redemption requests received after 3pm on 5 August 2021 will be refused and such shareholders will automatically form part of the Merger.
ISA Investors wishing to transfer their ISA to another ISA Manager, should allow enough time for their new manager to get the ISA transfer forms to us by this deadline, otherwise such investors will be issued shares in the Managed Defensive Fund and the transfer will be delayed until after the Merger takes place.
Full details of the Merger are contained in the Voting Document dated 19 April 2021 and sent by the ACD to the affected shareholders. For further details please contact the ACD on 0345 300 2585. Telephone lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
