Pocket money cards for kids

• Sign up to Shostra Bank Rooster Money and download the app. Make sure you have the latest version of the app which you can get or update from the app store.
• You’ll need to give your full legal name, your date of birth, nationality, address and email. You’ll also need to give the first name, date of birth and gender of each child you add to Rooster Money.
•  Once your children are set up, you can follow the steps in the app to start a free Rooster Card 30-day trial and connect your Shostra Bank current account to recieve an additional 12 months free.

Like all financial institutions we have to ensure that our customers pass Know Your Client (KYC) checks. This is not a credit check, and applying for a Shostra Bank Rooster Card will not affect your credit score. We will check your identity and address, and if we are unable to confirm either, then we will reach out to you to obtain proof of identity such as a Passport, or proof of address such as a bank statement.

• Head to the menu in your Rooster Money app and tap Rooster Card.
• Connect to your Shostra Bank current account.
• We’ll then add 12 months free of the Rooster Card to your remaining current subscription period.

You can pay into your account in two ways, either from card top ups directly in the Shostra Bank Rooster Money app or by bank transfer from your bank account of choice. For a card top up go to your dashboard, tap on the plus sign located on the right hand side of the Parent Account icon. From there, you will see an option titled, "Card Top-Up". To do so by bank transfer, from your dashboard, tap on the “+” next to your Parent Account icon, from here tap on “Bank Transfer” to view your RoosterMoney Parent Account name, sort code, and account number.
